Kicking off Tuck In Your Neighbor

Tuck In Your Neighbor is just two days away from kicking off this Saturday morning March 30 from 9 to 11 am at Eighteenth Street Orientals in Downtown Homewood! Everyone is invited to stop by! We will have crafts for younger children and wishlist items to buy on site to donate directly to Tuck In Your Neighbor. And just in case you cannot make it to the kick off party, here is a list of drop off locations that will collect any wish list items from March 30 to April 6.

St. Mark's Kindergarten "Compassion"

St. Mark's Kindergarten classes began donating blankets, teddy bears, and bedtime stories to Tuck In Your Neighbor this week, falling under their February character focus of "Compassion" in relation to the approaching Valentine's Day. A huge thanks to all the children and staff at St. Mark's for their compassion for giving to Tuck In Your Neighbor!

The week of the event  (March 30-April 6)  Books-A-Million will have a special display for Tuck In Your Neighbor  including books and stuffed animals that will be perfect for the residents of Glenwood.

We have created a map of the Birmingham area with dots where drop off locations (where you can drop off items once the drive begins) that have already been confirmed. Drop off locations include: Iz bakery and cafe, Southminster Presbyterian Church, and Eighteenth Street Orientals. As more locations are confirmed we will post them onto the blog and facebook page.
